So I’ve finally got a song of the weekfor you guys! Sorry about the wait. 

The song for this week is Last Hope (feat. Dave Lombardo) by Apocalyptica. Apocalyptica is a band of 4 cellists who started out covering metallica songs. All of their music used to be just cellos, but about 3 albums ago they added drums into the mix. The CD “Reflections” featured Dave Lombardo on a bunch of songs, but since then have added a regular drummer to their band. This song is off of their newest album, but they have called back the great Dave Lombardo to feature in yet another Apocalyptica song. The drummer in the video is Mikko Sirén, Apocalytptica’s drummer. Yet this drum part is played by Lombardo in the recording.
